From Perth Carnarvon is 900km north up the Brand Hwy. A quick stop in Geraldton for gas and you’re on your way to one of the north wests best kept secrets. The kitesurfing season is from September through to March with consistant seabreezes of 18 to 25 knots coming in around lunchtime.
Carnarvon has paddocks of flat shallow water, making it an ideal place to learn from our professional IKO instructors. Being a remote country town there are no crowds to contend with and each kitesurfing spot is just minutes away from the town centre.

Carnarvon is flat-water central. Kitemix lessons take place here everyday throughout summer. Camping tours up the coast are a regular for catching waves when the conditions are good and land-boarding the clay-pans as a alternative when the wind is light.
There are too many down-winders in the Gascoyne to mention and its rare not to see turtles, dugongs and rays as you kitesurf down the pristine coastline.
